Lions Club of Whitford supports Australian Army's Sunset Concert

23rd February, 2019

Today Philip, Terri and their daughter Mia, along with the Lions Club of Whitford team supported the Australian Army Museum of WA with their Sunset Concert Spectacular at Artillery Barracks in Fremantle.

Philip's honoured to have been the President of the Lions Club of Whitford for the past three years, and together with fellow Lions members, the Lions Club of Whitford proudly supports our police, military, the RSL, RSL WA and our veterans throughout Western Australia. Unfortunately, veteran welfare has been a significant issue of late, especially those affected by issues with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), the Child Support Agency, Centrelink and/ or health related issues.

The entire team supported our veterans and provided catering for the event, and it's approx. 1,500 attendees.

"The concert was magnificent, and Australia's military has some very talented musicians and singers" Philip said.

It was a great day, and the ultimate pleasure of everyone at the Lions Club of Whitford to again serve our community.

At Lions We Serve - We're Australian and we look after one another.
