Father's Day 2017 - Feeding Perth Homeless

2nd September, 2017

Today was Father's Day in Australia, and I was very pleased to have my family join me to feed Perth's Homeless. I could not have received a better Father's Day present than I did, and to have Terri and our children by my side to firstly cook, and then serve Perth's homeless was the best Father's Day present my children could have ever given me.

For Father's Day in 2016, Joshua and Brooke also joined me to feed Perth's homeless (again a very proud father) and Terri and I are very proud of our beautiful children for their dedication and unwavering commitment to helping our community wherever they can.

This occurs on the first Sunday of each month and we prepare, cook and package all meals at Manna Inc's commercial kitchen in Victoria Park, and then deliver and serve those meals to the homeless in Northbridge.

Manna Inc. and most importantly the homeless community rely upon and appreciate all the volunteers that help the organisation in this most deserving of projects, and personally I have seen firsthand the increased demand (month on month) on this service.

Were Australian, and we look after one another, and always lend a hand to help those less fortunate or in need, and I would encourage everyone who's able to help out if you can.

To our children, thank you for your dedication and help, and know that Mum and Dad love you very much.
