HUGS - Tougher Eligibility Requirements Hurting West Australians

Whilst the WA State Government keeps increasing utility prices, its tightening eligibility requirements to access the Hardship Utilities Grant Scheme otherwise known as HUGS.

There's many West Australians who cannot afford the significant utility price rises and your decisions today Ben Wyatt (WA Treasurer) mean you are now responsible for added hardship to West Australian Families.

It's time our state government and our politicians learn to live within their means (the current WA financial position is a prime example) and if you don't want to provide HUGS, then stop raising utility prices and causing significant pain to our fellow Western Australians.
